Basswood Rough-outs are by far better than tupelo for carvers who would rather to use knives and gouges than power carve. Do not forget to purchase 6 mm red eyes. Though we do not have towhee feet and legs you can use Robin. Though not drawn up specifically for this rough-out we have a Rufus Sided Towhee  pattern available to help you finish the project.
