Award-winning carver Jean Minaudier has been creating Wildfowl Carving Magazine's beautiful patterns and color guides for 15 years. Born and raised in southern Manitoba, Jean began carving alongside his father at an early age. Before long, he was competing at the open level and absorbing all of the information he could from local and visiting artists. His carvings have won honors at the prestigious Ward World Championship and at competitions across North America. Sought after as a judge and instructor, Jean is always willing to spend time sharing tips and techniques with fellow carvers.
