Rubies work great for medium carving and detailing. They are used before diamonds when general shaping is more important than a smooth sanded finish. They are carried in 3 grades regular, coarse, which is twice as coarse as regular and super coarse which is half again as coarse as the coarse version. Rated at 35,000 max.
